Biography:

Ms. Stefanie Misztal is a research associate at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. She holds a Master's of Fine Arts in science and natural history filmmaking from Montana State University, and a B.S. in environmental studies with an emphasis in biology from the University of Southern California. She began employment at GEST in 2005, and has since produced and edited a wide range of award-winning earth, solar, and space science outreach products to support ongoing missions and research in the NASA community. Most recently, she acted as the editor for the short film Destination Earth, which won the "Best PSA/Promo/Advertising" category at the International Wildlife Film Festival, and she has been selected to be a peer judge for the "Editing" category at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival in 2009.
